The Robs4Steel is a 10-month project that proposes the robotization of visual inspection in the refractory of a furnace in STOMANA premises enhancing a heat resistant optical camera with the appropriate light filters attached to the robot’s arm, enabling remote human robot cooperation.
The main objectives of the project are as follows:
O1. High temperature robotized inspection system
O2. Remote control, robotic operations assiseted by human decision and supervision system
O3. AR human operator support for maintenance tasks
“ROBS4STEEL” is part of a sub-project that has indirectly received funding from the European Union’s H2020 research and innovation programme via an Open Call issued and executed under project TRINITY (grant agreement No 825196)
